United for Wildlife heads to Rio de Janeiro

October 2025

Brazil is home to 60% of the Amazon rainforest – one of Earth’s most vital ecosystems.

This makes it the ideal location for the fourth annual United for Wildlife Global Summit. Held in Rio de Janeiro, it brings together global leaders ahead of the UN Climate COP30 and the World Leaders Summit, thereby connecting environmental crime directly to the climate agenda.

The summit brings together Indigenous leaders, governments, CEOs and philanthropies as part of United for Wildlife’s shared commitment to those risking their lives to protect nature. Providing a platform to reframe environmental crime as a strategic global priority, the summit seeks to create fresh impetus among governments and the private sector to turn concern into coordinated action.

We’ll be sharing updates from the summit as it unfolds. Follow The Royal Foundation’s social channels to find out more.
